Home Starting my build

home tiki bars
Plenty of ideas, but no specific plans yet. It will all depend on the final placement of the pool and fence. Whatever I decide on, my boyfriend Jon will probably want something bigger.

We did get our septic inspection by the local health inspector yesterday and some digging equipment is sitting in the yard. So everything is on track for pool delivery next week. We were concerned about getting delayed while under a stay at home order.

Rectangle pool, with a shallow shelf at one end. The flags are our septic field. It isn’t where it is supposed to be, that is why we needed the health inspector to ok everything before we start digging.

After the hole gets dug for the pool you will have a much better idea of where to place everything. You've got a lot of space to work with.

I cannot believe how much progress has been made in only a week. We’re starting to see the big picture now, and getting an idea of how we are going to landscape. We definitely want the tiki bar at the shallow end of the pool.

Our pool guys have been making great progress this week, but it will still be awhile before we can start our tiki build. So this week I’ve been working on new art. This is my first tiki piece, and I had so much fun with the colors.

Finally back with an update!

The pool is finished, with concrete and gravel around it, and the fence is up.

Now the fun part, making it pretty.9B7F324F-49DC-4B78-AABB-608FD217F1FD.jpeg
