With all of the construction finished, here at The Rapa Nui Ranch, we are spending the winter, fine tuning, and de-cluttering, as we prepare for our June open house.
As I was digging through years of paperwork, I came across this little gem.
Many trips around the sun ago, I went on a trip I called, the tiki trail. It started in Vegas, then Palm Springs, on to San Diego, and finally L.A., before returning to Vegas. We stopped at anything we could find that was tiki. A visit to the Caliente Tropics motel, dinner at The Bali Hai, and as we made our way along the coast, a stop at a small industrial building, stuffed to the rafters with anything and everything tiki. YES, it was Oceanic Arts.
I dont really remember picking this thing up, but Im sure glad I decided to hang on to it. It is currently in the process of being framed.

It is still in the que for framing and hanging. We currently have several pieces of art that are in the process of finding a permanent location here at the ranch.
I am putting together a post that will contain all of the varied artwork and artists that are represented. We should have this done sometime over the next month or two.
The shift to outside for landscaping is beginning early with this unseasonably warm weather, so on bad days we concentrate on the inside, and finishing all of the loose ends, that need wrapped up by our open house in late June.
The Rapa Nui Ranch.............we put the art, in party!
