This got me curious as to what happened to the original property. Here is what Google Maps is showing. Is the old location of Don's in between the buildings?

I'm curious, too. I haven't found a better resource, but looked at https://www.historicaerials.com/viewer for '48, '52, and '54 and it's hard to discern where Don the Beachcomber was along that street. Fuzzy old aerial images.
