As I’ve gone deeper down the Tiki rabbit hole, I’ve discovered more obscure artists along the way. This book by “Professor” Fritz Costa, The Lives of Lowbrow Artists, took me even further. Although I was already quite familiar with the work of SHAG and Derek Yaniger, I was now introduced to the art of Tim Biskup and Brandi Milne. It’s cool to not only delve into the Pop Surrealist work of these talented people, but also to hear what inspired them to create lowbrow art. Mahalo, Professor!
