I’m going with back-to-back music posts because I’ve been channeling Herb Albert lately. Last week I found South of The Border on vinyl in my mother-in law Phyllis’s record collection. It seems her late husband Dennis had great taste in music, and she let me take whatever I wanted. As I brought home this record and spun it on my turntable, I decided to take a short video of it and posted it on Facebook. Much to my surprise, Herb Alpert himself “liked” my post. So very cool! Not only is he still around, but he just put out a new album. I will have to check it out. Mahalo, Señor Alpert!
