So, the nautical and pirate themes are Tiki adjacent. With that in mind, I present to you the Pirates of The Caribbean. This was originally an attraction that opened at Disneyland in 1967. The wildly popular ride then spawned a movie franchise beginning in 2003 that culminated in the 5th movie, Dead Men Tell No Tales, in 2017. This last movie was directed by Norwegians Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg, who also directed the movie Kon Tiki. Worlds colliding again.
