In this 1963 movie, famed director John Ford and John Wayne team up again to present: a comedy? Donovan’s Reef is a lighthearted romp set on a Polynesian island after WWII. It features lots of drinking, fishing, and fighting between Wayne and Lee Marvin. An all-star cast also includes Jack Warden, Dorothy Lamour, and Caesar Romero.
