Way back in 1971, Walt Disney World opened in Orlando FL. The Polynesian Village was one of two resorts that opened on-property at that time. Last year marked the 50th anniversary of this event, and the celebration continues on. I wasn’t able to get to WDW this year, but my sister-in-law Adrienne was, and she picked up some cool swag for me. This serving set and cookie jar are so cool, aren’t they? I also got a smaller pineapple mug, which is on display in my Polynesian Powder Room. Mahalo, Adrienne!
