A few weeks ago I saw a friend’s post about a cool blue mermaid mug. It looked familiar to me. Suddenly, it dawned on me: I was using this same mug as a planter for my lucky bamboo plant! Or, at least I thought it was the same. As it turns out, my friend’s mug was a vintage version by Orchids of Hawaii, while mine was a cheap knockoff. You could tell by the seal on the bottom, or lack of one on mine. Oh, well. It still looks cool.
