Once again I feature art by one of the female artists I admire. Dawn Frasier was one of the original artists of the Tiki resurgence of the 1990s. I adore her work and have several pieces, including one original. This print is my favorite. Dawn painted this for Martin and Rebecca Cate’s book, Smuggler’s Cove, and you can find it on page 6. I got it directly from the artist. As a print on linen paper, it has a rustic feel, so I put it in a weathered frame and hung it in the Tiki Lounge. It looks like an original painting, don’t you think?
