Okay, so I’m starting to run out of Tiki drinks I know how to make. Here’s a simple cocktail I just tried a few months ago, after a visit to the Hope Hill Lavender Farm in Schuylkill County PA. I brought home a bottle of lavender-infused simple syrup with the expectation of using it in a drink. I found a recipe for a Lavender Lemon Martini, but it called for vodka. Life is too short to settle for vodka! I substituted Tanqueray gin for that inferior spirit, and the result was fantastic. There’s always room for another gin cocktail here in the Tiki Lounge, and botanicals get to hang together. Okole maluna!
