I actually heard this song on an episode of Supernatural the other day! (Season 10, episode 9) The characters were chatting in a Tiki Bar!

I’ve purchased a couple of their Martin Denny reissues and have another one on pre-order along with a non-Exotica record. Quality of the pressing was definitely above average and shipping was fairly quick. I’d recommend them.

Thank you, thank you! I appreciate the recommendation!

Has anyone here purchased any of the Jackpot Records products? I have not gotten any of theirs previously (to my knowledge) but I have been "scarred" previously by poor pressings and record reissues.

I have been very impressed with the Tikiyaki Orchestra records ( https://www.tikiyakiorchestra.com/ ), but I would love some feedback on the Jackpot products?

Thoughts anyone?

Thanks!
Hi mikehuna! I purchased the jackpot records rerelease of quiet village, hypnotique and exotica and they are excellent presses. I was worried too. With such quiet music, the snaps and pops or background noise associated with some color vinyl pressings could have been an issue. But it was not and they sound great! And look really cool. I preordered the next 3 they reissues (exotica II, Primitiva and Afro-Desia) and am looking forward to spinning them!
