I'll be trying my hand at growing some mint. I did not have very good luck in the past. Anyone have any tips? I thought this stuff was supposed to grow like a weed?

I have great luck with growing mint in my garden. If you don't have optimal growing conditions outside, consider growing it inside. Keep the pot near a window, you will have a thriving plant! I always cut a few sprigs off when making Mai Tai's, perfect addition to a great tiki cocktail! Good luck!
Having mint syrup on hand is great. I followed this video for a quick and easy batch. I was surprised by the flavor and the neon green color that has held on for some time.
That link is a video on how to make a Mojito. (although he does use the mint syrup)

- 200g sugar
- 100g water
- Fresh mint, blanched
