I just started playing about a month ago. Learning a few chords. I was never able to play the guitar, this seems to be easier, less strings! lol

I bought myself a uke a few years back. The plan is to retire, sit on the beach or by the pool ... or both ... and learn a few chords while drinking rum.

Very nice! Is that a concert uke, or a soprano? I checked out The Ukulele Site, oh my! Some of those can get a little pricey. -but gorgeous instruments!

It’s a tenor. I’ve purchased several over the years from The Ukulele Site and they do have some high end ones but also some really nice lower end brands. Kala is very reasonably priced and make a good instrument.Very nice! Is that a concert uke, or a soprano? I checked out The Ukulele Site, oh my! I'm actually getting callouses on my fingers. Practice must be working.

Hi everyone! I’m sort of in that same boat — always learning, always stumbling. I grabbed an If I die young uke tab recently and it helped me push past the basic 3-chord tunes. It’s fun trying patterns and strumming stuff I hadn’t dared before. Anybody got recommendations for their “next level” song?

I have one! Love it! It's pretty fun and easy to take just about anywhere. I mostly hang out on the youtubes grabbing what they play.
