The tiki torches are lit and the vibes are flowing — a brand-new release from Mr. Moai & The Tikiheads is almost here!
On March 20, 2026, we officially release our new 5-song EP, Echoes of Exotica. This collection pays tribute to the golden age of exotica with four classic covers:
“Martinique” – by Martin Denny
“Paradise” – by Robert Drasnin
“Pool of Love” – by Les Baxter
“Bamboo Tamboo” – by Arthur Lyman
Each track has been reimagined, arranged, and recorded by Mr. Moai & The Tikiheads using modern recording techniques while staying true to the lush, rhythmic spirit of classic exotica.
Completing the EP is the title track, “Echoes of Exotica” — an original composition written by Michael Young and performed and recorded by the band.
