This is one of Adam Savage's builds. I think you could very easily replace the lamp he used with your own Tiki lamp. I was primarily interested in how he got the flame bulb to work off of 2 double AA batteries. Take a look.

He is such a mad scientist! I try to stay away from batteries but it's cool that is an option. 5 days plus!!! Did you see his goof at 7:13? Soldered the wires together but left off the yellow heat shrink tubing. Off camera he had to unsolder and re-do it LOL
